Hi Guys!

Recently I've started a new Morrowind game. I have the code patch and other patches and some graphics mods and such and everything is running very well.

My question is on console commands. I have a character I want to play that stat/magic wise should probably be an Altmer however the character is tiny so Bosmer body style fits her better with a slight adjustment to her height through the console. Now I initially tried making the Altmer tiny. That did not work so well and everyone still kept looking up at her. WAY up LOL It was jarring for me knowing this character is slightly shorter than a Bosmer male. I think the height adjustment was just too much for the camera to adjust correctly. It's fine at the slightly smaller adjustment to the Bosmer female.

So now, I need to adjust some of the stats to match the Altmer female more such as magicka reserves and bonuses to enchant, destruction, etc. However, I am wary. I am wondering if too many adjustments would lead to glitches and possibly biting me in the backside farther down the road. I really want to avoid that so if it is best not to, I will carry on with what I have even if it doesn't match the character.

I have tried to work the construction set to make a new race to fix it that way but I do not get along with that program AT ALL. It hates me.

I don't think I've ever seen the use of the console create save file problems.

It is easy to break quests if you mess with the Journal and you can cause unwanted effects by abusing TGM (like permanent Water Walking) but your save file should always load correctly.


Also, being too tall or short can cause problems with collision. It's recommended to use a height that is vanilla, although Race is not a factor. (You can have a tall Bosmer, but don't exceed to the max height that vanilla races use.)

I don't have any intentions of messing with anything other than the magicka she should have and the couple of bonuses being an Altmer would give her.
