If you're having trouble with commands, try to add spaces between "="
like this...
cl_fov = 65

Just to add, the = isn't even required, not even in 1.4

cl_fov 80 works just as well as cl_fov = 80

Cool, i only user the in-game MP commands like r_motionblur = 0 anyways, good job people!!!
