Okay i wanted to know whats the problem is when this pops up after i put in a code.

mainly with DLC codes. thank you and sorry i didnt do my research enough on this couldnt find anything close to what i was looking for.

The FormID for items provided by the DLCs has the Load Order for the first part of the FormID. So, if you adding something with a code of xx000234, then you need to put in the load order position for the DLC (or the mod) where the xx's are.

yeah i got them all the beginning codes from when they came out 01 dead money and 02 for lonesome road 03 etc etc, but they seem not to work unless they change? i bought this game the Ultimate edition.

You want the beginning codes from your load order. So if dead money follows fallout.esm then you would use 01. Maybe that's what you meant.

What items are you trying to get? Any items from dead money? What console command are you using?

What he is probably doing is lopping off the 0's after the xx's.

so xx000234 is being entered at 1234 and not 01000234 like it should be for a Dead Money item

okay yeah i had them all once before, 01 dead money, 02 lonesome road, 03 gunrunners, 04 honest hearts, 05 old world blues. but since i built my new pc and redownloaded it onto it, they dont work anymore. i checked all the data files before you start the game, and still nothing re entered them all again with all different numbers and still no and tried the ` and click on the DLC guns but there still no good so im wondering why.
