[REQ] Console Key Change

Post » Wed May 05, 2010 5:03 pm

I am on a laptop and in Oblivion, Fallout 3 and now New Vegas, I can't get the ` key to open the console, I have had a mod for Oblivion and Fallout 3 that changes that key to one of the function keys, I was wondering if there is or if someone could make something like this.

I have this same problem but I don't think a console key binder mod can be made until the script extender comes out... :/

THIS DOES WORK FOR WINDOWS 7

FROM START MENU
CLICK DEVICES AND PRINTERS
RIGHT CLICK ON YOUR COMPUTER and select "KEYBOARD SETTINGS"
CLICK HARDWARE TAB
SELECT Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard or similar and hit "properties"
HIT "CHANGE SETTINGS"
SELECT DRIVER TAB
HIT "update driver"

3. Choose "Browse my computer for software"

, then when it asks you where you would like it to search for drivers choose the option to choose from a list) then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".

4. Make sure "show compatible hardware" is checked, then select "HID-compliant device" and click next. Click any remaining "OK" or "Finish" buttons after Windows has installed the driver.

NOTE: I found this on another forum and I'm just passing it along. It worked fine for me. I run Win7 64-bit on a Sager 5793 laptop.
