Has anyone else ever noticed that consoles using discs where you snap them in tend to last longer than consoles with disc trays? Maybe it's just a coincidence, For instance, my PS2 died within 1 1/2 years, yet my PS1 still works right now. My old Xbox lasted about 3 months before dying (and the general outcome of the 360s isn't much better), yet my GameCube still works.
But then I thought: Why does my Wii still work after so long? It doesn't have a disc tray or something to snap the disc on. But the disc is vertical

Maybe that has something to do with it (like gravity and centripetal force).
And then yet again I thought: Why is my PC disc drive still working after 4 years? I have no answer to that

Maybe its because it was built with quality unlike Microsoft and Sony's products.
Note: I didn't buy any of those consoles (my parents did)

So don't go calling me a fanboy. PCs rule
