WTF? I was just on Fallout Nexus looking at a comparison of PC Fallout 3 and PS3 Fallout 3 (and xbox). WTF? WHY DOES THE PC ONE LOOK SO MUCH BETTER? THE PS3 ONE LOOKS A WHOLE GENERATION BEHIND>? WAS BETH LAZY WITH US? PLEASE EASE SOME OF MY FRUSTRATION!!! WTF?

It's simple. Today's PC's have much better graphics, RAM and processor grunt than any console, and usually screens with better resolution than a TV.

Ditch your console and get the PC version today, you'll thank yourself.

2 things: money and stability

Criticisms are fine baxter1221, but please keep them civil and constructive. Accusing Bethesda of cheating console users is unlikely to result in a calm and measured discussion.

The XBox 360 and PS3 have been out for a while and their hardware can't be upgraded - as with every console they tend to be comparable to very powerful gaming PCs when they're released but every year they lag further behind.

I don't know if vanilla Fallout 3 is all that different on the PC from the XBox or PS versions but it can be tweaked and augmented past it's normal settings by adjusting the INI file, changing some console commands, and using texture replacement and hi-poly mods. If you're looking at stuff on Nexus it's quite possible the shots were taken with graphic enhancers.
