Consolidating OOO into BSA

Greets. Long time lurker (2006), first time poster.

Anyway, I have downloaded OOO 1.33, 1.34b5, and their respective PyFFI'd patches. In order to keep my Oblivion subdirectories clean (as well as my MFT), I have created an uncompressed BSA with the contents of the mod assets, and created an OMOD. I am curious if there is any incompatibility with FCOM or any other major mod if this is done. If anyone has done this before, and experienced any problems, I'd love to hear your feedback.

Note I am just doing this to make FCOM easier to install.

There is overlap, and the OOO team is already working on a BSA. You should let them handle that.

There are a few problems with sime of the mesh/texture files. I tried to create the BSA and some of the armor was missing. The FCOM team has these fixes for the OOO BSA release so like Tomlong said, wait for it. Unless you know how to fix the files and can do it on a case by case basis when you run into the problems.

There's an issue with the OOO resources missing mipmaps, so don't do well when BSA packed.

There was an official OOO alpha 7 with bsa's but even they had errors, and was then purged from filefront
