Post » Sat Jan 30, 2016 11:14 pm

Played 300+ hours with no problems ,78 mods, GTX750Ti (supposedly not usable) in ultra mode. After update it started crashing to desktop.

1) removed all mods

2) validated Steam

3) reinstalled Steam and FO4- as well as various earlier drivers

4) memtest = no problems

5)Clean install Windows 10, Steam, FO4.

still crash

6)New GPU- ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4 GB DDR5 256-bit v.361.75 w/ Clean install 10.Steam.FO4

Have you tried backing up your saves and starting a new game with no mods, to test if your mods caused save game corruption?

I'd personally not go anywhere near that amount of mods before the GECK is available. The game is still too immature patch-wise as well.

300 hrs without problem then update, what update? Windows update, driver update or beta update?

Have you checked for corrupted saves by renaming the save folder?
