Whenever I try to edit any existing plugins I have, the following message comes up upon clicking the save button:

Unable ot complete operation due to failure removing previous file. Temp file remains. Continue running executable? Cancel is "Yes To All".

I have transferred all the compatibility files into their right places and am wondering whether anyone has found a solution for it.

Is your Morrowind installed to the default location? A lot of programs can run into problems when Windows 7 protects the directory from being read/written to.


If so, you can literally just cut and paste your entire Morrowind directory to a custom folder somewhere else that Windows won't interfere with.

Run as administrator. Just right-click and select properties for the CS exe and go to the compatibility tab. Check run as administrator and it should run fine.
