Container City Vid Question

P.S.>I am aware that all Videos thus far have been SinglePlayer but with SP and MP being so closely linked I wonder if all aspects of the game will blend together, hence these thoughts/observatiosn.

Part 1, roughly at the 3:00 mark you see a rather suicidal Resistance player gunned down by a mob of Security forces. But before he dies there's an "interogate" option above him. Shortly after this, the operative player has the ability to interogate someone based on the mission but this prementioned downed Resistance fighter didn't have anything to do with that. So, are we going to be able to interogate people at will? Will the correspondance between these two players in interogation be a new form of "tea-bagging" if you will?

Part 2...it comes up very quickly and unexpectedly but listen very closely around 3:30...just after the character repairs the crane.
Did I hear the civilains where on the battlefield??? Will there be "innocent" NPCs running around the chaos of the MP world?

Interrogating the downed foe was the mission of the operative. When operative interrogates a downed enemy the enemy team will be shown in his team radar for 10 seconds or so.

And yes civilians will be on the map as objectives such as, revive the civilians, escort them off the battlefield or escort the VIP

You can interrogate an enemy wether it's your mission or not, though, for said radar-thing. (If you have the ability, that is, I guess.)

Does that mean as security...you have to kill them O-o...seems a bit brutal for a "no body's the bad guy" game.

You can't kill NPC's that need to be escorted. Compare it to the robot, when it gets damaged, an engi has to repair it.
When an NPC gets downed, a medic needs to revive him. It basically the same.

Also, the NPC we're talking about is an objective of the game. Meaning that there will probably mostly be only one at any give time, and they have something to do with the plot.
So there won't be any overflow of innocent civilians. At least that has never been confirmed.

What about the start of the video, where all the security talk. Is that just a single player/Coop feature, or will it be shown online while you are picking your class and guns?

I would think that they would do that with an option to skip the cut-scene.

What he said. Confirmed by Mr. Ham : Can you give us details about the medic-only missions?

"Essentially, in some of the missions you’ll go on in Brink, your core objective will be to rescue an NPC and lead him to safety out of the level; imagine a prison break or a hostage rescue. On these missions, the NPCs can get incapacitated – but never killed -- by the enemy, and it’s up to the Medics to get them up and moving again, and to keep their health up when they come under fire."

That is a general feature. When your whole team consists of human players, you will probably only see their characters.

You can skip cutscenes. (The Expo demo could actually crash when doing that and did for one guy on our group.)
