How do they continue to do nothing?
The number of people experiencing the same problem shows that nothing has been done. Everyone experiencing the same problem.
I too agree the game was a great concept, but the development is very very poor. The fact that the developers specifically came out and said this game was ready to go, so why not release it early?
It was never ready to be released, and they knew this how do you develop a game like this and not know. I can see minor issues that get overlooked or not found by QA, but something on this level
of error is nothing but obvious.
Bethesda, as publishers of this game, you should pay very close attention to the complaints. You have one of the biggest titles being released this year, Skyrim. Many of us belong to many different gaming communities websites as members, as well as owners. Word of mouth in the gaming industry has huge effects on sales. Dont brush aside these complaints, these are the same consumers who will decide whether or not to purchase any future games by both the publisher and developers of Brink. With todays economy, gaming consumers find themselves limited only able to choose certain titles over others being released around the same time period. We also remember the bad experiences from previous games purchased from a publisher/developer. This experience by a consumer will very much effect decisions in purchasing future titles, as well as recommending to other gaming friends.
I have posted my game once before on ebay, but deleted the listing, because I wanted to believe the game would be fixed, and yet there is no word as to a fix.
So again tonight playing with friends, all 4 of us experiencing game ruining lag issues. After the game ended, we have concluded by deciding to trade this game in.
It is best that we loose the minimal amount and get a decent trade in value as the time allow before it decreases in trade in value.
I admire the concept of the game, what should have been a great game, as talked about in many of the Dev Diary Vids. But what was sold was a game nowhere near being finished or completed.
I, and I'm sure as many others who have posted, will be very hesitant when purchasing future products of both Bethesda and Splash Damage.
