PC control question

Post » Thu Jan 06, 2011 3:43 pm

Hey

I'm just a little curious about this.

Think about it: PC has no left or right bumper to apply cloak or other things.
and now think (easy for easy-thinking persons (: ) If we don't have bumpers or that we practically have to have a suit menu, right? I know the "new" feature from the nanosuit is "fast switch of modes" but how would this work?

Pls gimme some infos or do i have to wait until the demo

Lol, dude, we have "keyboards". Think - Super Controller. Once you get used to the keyboard and mouse, you can do anything. For instance, double tap space = Powered Jump. We don't need suit menus.

Q will activate armor and E will activate cloak. There's a full singleplayer keyboard-layout in the german magazine PC Games. ;)

Guess I'll have to use one of the 110 keys on my keyboard, or one of the 5 on my mouse.

If q and e activate suit modes how will we lean? Suit menu should at least be an option.

I used my mouse to switch modes, it was more comfortable for me. I hope we get the chance to do that again in C2. It felt so fluid.

There was no lean in Crysis MP (wars, at least).

Wouldnt be surprised if there was no lean. However, this IS a keyboard... we have a ton of keys.

Besides, lean usually isn't one of those keys you need right up front. Lean is usually used when in your in good cover, and looking to pistol snipe or observe an enemy that isn't right in your face.

Singleplayer-controls seen on PC Games 2/11 screenshot :

WASD - Move
Q - Toggle Armor
E - Toggle Cloak
1 - Toggle weapons
2 - Toggle Fire Modes
3 - Cycle Explosives
R - Reload ( Hold: Look-at)
Shift - Hold: Power Sprint
Z - Nanosuit customization
X - Weapon customization
C - Toggle Crouch
V - Melee/Stealth kill/Kick
Space - Jump (Hold: Power jump)
F - Use, swap weapons, pick-up, grab
G - Select frag grenade
N - Toggle Nanovision

shoot/aim the usual way...

mouse wheel: cycle weapons AND hold: SUIT MENU !

I hope i haven't forgotten anything ^^

It has. In SP you can change your attachments and nanosuit modules on the fly.

You can only lean in cover.
