No.

~ Dani ~ :)

- also, active as the mods are today, I predict an end to this thread soon -

Agreed. And OP needs to turn off caps in the title. Why do people feel the need to do this? It's just freakin' annoying.

there's always the idea of shapeshifting into a dragon by means of a dragon shout.

in elders scrolls lore, the dragons themselves are rumored to have shapeshifting abilities to disguise themselves and rosh taka has also been rumored to have succeeded in transforming himself into a dragon.

Might be nice to have a dragon shout that acts kind of like a big daddy hypnosis plasmid, set fire to all those pesky villagers that charge you too much on your goods!

I think riding a dragon in Skyrim is going to be about as likely as riding a Dremora in Oblivion.

Personally, I think it'd be about as entertaining too, but that's an opinion that doesn't seem to be shared by many........ 12 year olds.

Actually yes you can evidently because dragon riding is confirmed not in. I'm sure mods will change this though.

I've been up a few mountains that were nigh impossible to traverse without trails.

As for limiting the already small map, perhaps. It will also create the feeling of being larger, though, because you have to walk around and can't see past the next peak.

Well what do you want us to tell you? That's how it's going to work unless there's a climbing feature we don't know about yet because we already know for a FACT that WE WON'T BE RIDING DRAGONS. CONFIRMED.

Now, now, I'm sure there are plenty of 13-30 yr olds vying for dragon mounts too.

ok so skyrim is a smaller map then normal, then you can only go where their are paths villages and lil breaks. these mountain are big and take up the map so of course its going to be small.

It's a shame dragon-riding is so unfashionable, because I think it's a really cool concept. I don't think belittling those who agree is helpful, especially if one can't back it up with some kind of coherent design philosophy. I bet Bethesda can, though, and I bet that's why it won't be in the game.

I lol'd so hard when I saw that pic.

Btw, I think it would be in everyone's best interest to stop squabbling over the size of the map, which we all know to be huge and give feedback to this topic. Now to start the topic back on track, I think it would be nice to have a dragonshout that is like the Big Daddy Hypnosis Plasmid, that way you could use your dragonshout (which is supposedly on a pretty good cooldown) to control an unruly dragon for a short period and possibly use it against another dragon in case you accidentally got into a fight with multiple dragons. I'm in the crowd that doesn't want dragon mounts but mind controlling dragons is A-okay.

 We are not saying that! We are saying one of the ways to get to the top of the mountain is by FOLLOWING A TRAIL! Did you get that? FOLLOWING A TRAIL!
We are NOT saying that you can only follow trails to get to areas, nor has this been confirmed (never going to happen anyway).
