PC Controller not working In-Game

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:19 pm

I am trying to play Fallout 4 with my PC controller, a normal Logitech gaming controller. Though everytime I launch the game it no longer works, it works while using steam but once I start actual game play the controller doesn't work, it's not even registering that it's connected and only in steam. I can't find any posts anywhere else about this issue online, other than people having button issues...mine is the controller just stops working the moment the game launches...I thought the game was controller compatible?

Anybody have any tips or information on this matter?

have you checked first that controller is enabled in game's setting ?? check your ini files and make sure "bGamepadEnable=" is set to 1 it should be either in General tab or controls tab. Game supports xbox 360, Xbox one controller out of box other controllers may or may not be officially supported but you can always use 3rd party softwares to mimic any controller as xbox controller.
