I don't buy anything besides Jerky and drinks but when I worked at a chevron I made pizzas in-store and they were pretty damn good

The most digustion thing I bought from a convience store was Tonic water. It smelled great like Sprite but it literally tasted like dirt, but it will still addictive for some reason. Another thing was this type of purple gum that everyone found gross because it tasted like soap but it was still sold well because it was addictive. Then there was the expired Hype energy drinks, these things were sold warm as piss and they tasted disgusting but everyone bought them because it was cheap energy, they were however amazing when they were cold.

Sort of the reverse for me. When I go to Turkey Hill, they pretty much have the same things. The sausage with jalepenos were great, burritos great, hotdogs, no so great. The worst thing I ever had was the so-called "pork barbecue". This thing was the saltiest, chewiest thing that I ever ate. Convenience store food, you take the good with the bad, and leave the calories in the back of your mind. What else are you and your stupid friends going to eat at 2:45 in the am?

I stay far away from convenience store food. However one day I was really late heading home from school (I lived about forty minutes away at the time) so I figured I'd try a burger when I stopped to get gas. Taste-wise it was only mediocre but I didn't realize I'd have to wait for them to warm up the griddle and cook a completely frozen patty - it took about twenty minutes. Even worse I specifically hadn't stopped at a restaurant because I didn't want to be even later than I was . . . I should have just driven a bit out of my way and gone to McDonalds.

Well, my convenience store near me makes VERY good sub sandwiches. I'd go out and say they are Wal-Mart/Subway quality sandwiches.

Hmm, I only stop at Sheetz and AC&T for food, Usually get Chili Cheese(nacho) Hot dogs with Bacon, or Giant Pretzels from either. When I was much younger they sold these wierd but awesome drinks that I think were called "Orbitz". They had these little round balls floating around in them that were gooshy but flavorful. I guess the most disgusting thing I ever got was a chicken salad sandwich that must have been really old or something, it tasted disgusting. Oooh, Ooh, I know whats the best! I found these Jalapeno and cheese flavored Potato strips once, they were delicious!

About the only thing I buy from them is milk. Well, that and bottled water when I fill up my car with gas at one while I'm traveling. I take that back - the 7-11 near my old job in Monterey had great pre-made sandwiches and other deli type foods. It was near a cluster of office parks so there was a large customer base for lunch and those professional people expected to eat somewhat healthy food.

Well lets see, at my local convenient store I have had fried chicken, which tasted fairly good. I have also had breakfast burritos, which looked, and tasted, like chum with a tortilla wrapped around it. Yet I still find myself buying it...I think there may be some drug they a slipping in it to make me addicted to eating them.

Went to the store with some friends, and we were incredibly hungry. Going down the isles we just took whatever looked good. Ended up with a bunch of random crap I don't think we ended up eating. Someone grabbed a Monster energy drink, but accidentally grabbed a "natural" one or something. Took one swig, and it was the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. Ended up just pouring it out. Such a waste.

Surprisingly, the hot dogs and Taquitos at 7-11 are pretty decent. And the melted cheese + chilli sauce =

I live near a Sheetz and they have a setup where everything is made up on the spot. Getting fresh french fries and a 6" steak-n-cheese sub at 3 in the morning is a glorious thing.

Twinkies.

So bad, but so good all at the same time. The awesome thing about twinkies is, you can open the pack, forget about them for 14 years, eventually find it in the couch, and it still tastes perfectly fine.

Back in the day when I drank a lot (early 90's) I used to buy this burrito called the BOMB which was huge and cheap. When your drunk nearly everything tastes good but I'm pretty sure if I ate it today it would be disgusting.
