Convenient Horses Problem

Post » Mon Apr 04, 2016 5:09 am

Hi all...like the title says, I have a problem with Convenient Horses, it seems that my mouse cursor to mount my horse has vanished and I can no longer jump onto my horse. I've found a quick solution using the console command

"player.mountactor FF000DCB", but I'd really like to have my mouse cursor back.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

At what point did it go away and does the "E" or activate key (when close enough to the horse) no longer work either?

Not too sure when it happened or the circumstances surrounding it, but the E key is not showing and it no longer functions.

Try the console commands

stopquest ch

startquest ch

that usually fixes most issues

I've killed my horse, hey, she was old...): dismissed all followers and am going to wait for 24-72 hours for the stable at Whiterun to respawn. Short of thait if it doesn't work I'll try the console commands you've suggested Davy, but if it's CH whistle quest I've already turned that off in the MCM menu.

Wow. I've been using CH since it was beta, and never had that happen. Are you having activate issues with doors, chests, other things?

The stopquest and startquest lines aren't just for the whistle quest part, they disable then re-enable the entire mod, and can be used to "kickstart" the mod if it's being problematic. Good luck!
