I see you added more choices to the poll - I just stick with my Indy vote, so Ulysses can chastise you for not having a flag! hahahahaha (or for following a half dead dry old guy, if we choose House) =p

OOH! OOH! Can I be White Glove Society! :woot: I totally wanted to play them as a creepy, cultured, Phantom of the Opera-like faction for weeks!

Supervaultboy seems more eager to have them than I really am, so I'll go ahead and let him have the White Gloves. I actually just picked them because it seems like we never have anyone who wants to take them.

Edit: changed my faction choice, see below.

Actually you know what, scratch the Omerta's, if Supervaultboy is taking the White Gloves, I'll take the Brotherhood of Steel.

I know. Curious isn't it? :shifty:

What are we talking about in terms of "remnants of the Brotherhood of Steel".

It depends on if House or Indy wins the poll.

If House wins, they're going to be only remnants because you're forced to kill them.

If Indy wins, they still inhabit Hidden Valley.

Any chance that if House wins we could still make it so that they are not blown up?

Otherwise it seems like there is very little they can do. Canonically they fade away if they get blown up and I don't really see a reason for any of the factions to negotiate with them, especially House, for any reason.

That way this opens the possibility for House/BoS negotiations, even if it doesn't happen in-game and likewise the BoS have a least some strength to bargain with (seeing as how they are hated by all the factions at this point.)

Perhaps an alternate story would be to have the NCR be able to ally with the BoS before they ask you to kill House, that way they are an asset to Hoover Dam and Mr. House doesn't exterminate them.

So does this have to do nothing with the old conventions?

Either way I'm thinking about being the Gun Runners.

It's entirely new. The poll is deciding which faction won the Second Battle for Hoover Dam.

I'll put you on the list. If you decide you don't want to, I'll take you off later.

EDIT: There are multiple Van Buren and Fallout 2 factions on the list that could possibly be at this convention. If you enjoyed (and know) the originals, or want to take on a challenging role, these are for you!

Anything really. I just don't think a BoS remnants faction would be really worth it. The Remnants of the Enclave can pretty much go any which way, and its canon that they kick ass and leave. Making them at least something of a force to be reckoned with.

With the BoS, I can't imagine why the remants of the Mojave chapter, assuming there really would be any worth mentioning, would stick around to negotiate with the faction that just blew them up or with either the Legion or the NCR (who both want them dead), nor would I see a reason for House to keep them alive for negotiation.

Gingy care to explain the Mormon Remnants a bit more? Because I might end up switching over to them--seeing how I am the forum's resident Utah resident. ;p

In regards to the BOS there are patrols, maybe they decided to end the lock down and establish other bases. maybe Hardin rebelled and stormed out of Hidden Valley with a sizeable chunk of the BOS and they're the ones who are left (along with patrols and scouts). just a few ideas

Alright Gingy, I am going to be taking a leap of faith here, scratch me off of the Enclave Remnants and instead sign me up for the Mormon Remnants. Ima get Brigham Young all up in here.

Someone else can have them. While I certainly enjoy roleplaying as the Enclave remnant, I've done them quite a few times and want to try something more varied. Something I haven't done before.
