Cooking time!

Alright, so I felt like making a good dinner for me and my dad today. I'm not sure what I can make of what I have though, but there are a few things I would like to include.

I found these items that seems like they could work together.
Salmon
Scallops
Gnocci
Asparagus

I'm currently looking around the web for recipies, but I can't find anythign that includes these. So if any of you are interested in cooking I would love some ideas on what to do with those.
Also, I have time to drive to the store and buy other things, and I could exclude one of the above mentioned if I can't find anything good to do with it.

http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1735,155168-240202,00.html could work. Not sure if you'd want to use the Gnocci to replace the pasta though as it is very doughy. I also skip on the hot pepper flakes as I'm not a big fan.

As for Salmon, I tend to cook it a simple way if it's in fillets:

Take a piece of tin foil and coat the bottom with olive oil. Place salmon fillet on the olive oil. Crush some fresh garlic and sprinkle on the salmon. Add any other seasoning you'd like (I sometimes use a bit of Montreal Chicken). Fold the tin foil up so it's like a little sealed tent making sure the tin foil is not touching the top of the salmon. Cook at 325F for about 30 minutes or until flaky. Done! This goes great with any sort of rice side dish or even just a salad works wonders.

Hope this helped some. :)

Well, I'm not good with recipes, but it sure looks like grilling with some butter, olive oil, garlic, salt and lemon pepper is in your future!

Grilled salmon, asspergrass, and scallops. Yum!

Edit: so it's Sweden and snowy (?). It just makes grilling that much more manly for you and your father (insert gutteral manly sounds). But the real question is...wine or beer?

Thanks for the help, I started cooking before I was able to post but now I'm finished eating.

I fried the scallops and salmon together. Boiled the asparagus with some harecout vert (sp?) and then fried it together with one tomato and an apple. To that I made some parsley and garlic butter. And then garnished it with crisp bacon cubes and thyme.
Turned out very good. :)
