Cool character names

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:27 am

Since Skyrim will be Nord based i'm obviously going to play as a nord. Not that i've ever played as anything else though.

I was wondering if anyone knows any cool viking/nord names to accompany my character. Doesn't have to be a nordish name though, anything from a breton to an argonian is welcome :).

Since I am going to start with a Nord(I know, I know) I will name him Harald. It is a normal name for norwegian kings origined in the vikings and quite fitting the native culture in the game I think.

I'm boring. I've used the same name in my games for a long time... back to Usurper on the local BBS.

I might have to change it up.

Depends on what race I play; in Skyrim I'd very likely play a nord at first so the names will be; Varg or Vidar if male, Skadi if female.

http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l584/Rivendell139/Rvan3.jpg Whitehair. He's a character I'm playing in Morrowind right now, and I'm planning to continue his story in Skyrim when it comes out. Not sure yet how he'll make the transition, but I imagine it will involve being frozen in some cave in Solstheim, or some deus ex machina thing like that. Playing him is making the wait for Skyrim more bearable.

My Dark Brotherhood Assassin is called Siadius. I kind of like that name. Going to revive him in Skyrim.

Orc: Gor-gor gro-Ashgag/Gugluk gro-Grumfbar
Nord: Njal, Trym, Gandalf? (an actual viking name, read the sagas)
Dunmer: Hrloren Dren/Holdren Arveth, Jiub or Valen Dreth (for nostalgic reasons)
