Cool Swords

Dawnfang/Duskfang, awesome sword. Umbra, damn awesome sword. The Madness Ore Longsword and Claymore, fricken awesome.

Yeah give us some unique looking longblades with some serious enchantments in Skyrim, hopefully the vanilla swords will look awesome also

Madness claymore + enchantment that gives it a green glow = most sinister looking weapon in the game

I want to see the hard-to-find "epic" weapons to not just be a base weapon with an enchantment on it. Like in Oblivion, they had, let's just say, the "Uber Sword of Awesome" but it wss just a steel longsword with an enchantment. I want unique looking "epic" weapons rather than a normal one with a different name and enchantment.

Give me an ebony scimitar from Tribunal. And is it really that hard to come up with a unique bow?

I would like to see some warhammers

I think you mean mauls, or sledges. Warhammers were actually hammers.

WHAT?! DAWNFANG IS WAY BETTER THAN SHADOWREND! You svck!!

You're both wrong! Duskfang was where it was at!

Anyway, I think something like http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100214211110/berserk/images/1/1b/Dragonslayercolour.jpg needs to make an appearance as a prop, given all the dragons popping up...

In truth, I'd rather see unique NON-SWORD weapons. I mean, there was the Blunt version of Shadowrend...
uh, the mace from Knights of the Nine...
That one bow with the random effects...
Volendrung, of course...
There were some staves, I guess, but those weren't really weapons in Oblivion...
I can't really think of any more. I mean, other than those all the unique weapons were swords! I want like in Fallout 3 or New Vegas where I could embark on vast quests to find many unique items and throw them on a shelf in Tenpenny Tower or the Goodsprings Schoolhouse and look at for a few minutes before going out on another quest for another awesomely unique item!

I mean, in Oblivion the best I could hope for was to hang the enlarged version of those Replica weapons on paintbrushes in Rosenthorn Hall. Most of my decorations were giant pots and food!
It would be nice to look at those sorts of items in Skyrim and think, "Man that's cool, but there are so many badass unique weapons that I don't have any room for that watermelon that's four times larger than my head!"

I'd like to see Goldbrand and Mehrunes Razor back. I thought they looked great, Goldbrand in particular was just beautifully ornate. But I didn't like the enchantment on either one. I don't mind fire damage but since the damn thing weighed over 50 pounds (or whatever) I would have preferred a constant feather effect. And Mehrunes Razor's Daedric Banishment was alright but then they stuck on the stupid corrode armour that wore the enchantment off.

I would prefer to see those weapons unenchanted but I don't think that's likely as the devs obviously have a bit of a woody for enchanted weapons. But maybe they could have a spell that removed the enchantment or a particular mage NPC who would do it for you.
