This thread really makes me wish I had the game for my PC (which is a lousy machine - used for digital media storage and web surfing, that's all) instead of PS3. I can only imagine the foolishness I would get up to. :)

Say, I just got an idea.

Ward spells are magical effects, yes?

Can we enchant a robe with 'em ward spells?

Should be doable.

Done that.
Disappointing effect. You create a 1 time magical barrier. When destroyed it does not return until the item is re-equipped. When the barrier is destroyed, all hostile spells will stagger you as if your ward has broken.

Tch, there goes my BattlePsijic robe.
Have you tried enchanting multiple items with multiple magnitude of wards (lesser, greater, etc)?

No, wait, don't we still have Stoneflesh and the likes?

D4FF1 is Ice Form, which simply makes the target paralyzed and float on water. Is your insta-kill actual, lootable kill or a simple dying animation?

their bodies are lootable. the death counts for quests. they also do the death animation.

you can not use playerenchantobject on an already enchanted item. you will get the usual item with its usual enchantment, regardless of parameters.

you can not use playerenchantobject on unenchanted staffs. even the effects that normal staffs have can not be added to any of the unenchanted staffs.

Can someone test out a Dragonrend Bow? :D

If that works, omg, (would be useful as hell on my non-Dovahkiin chars) :D

I'm on xbox, and was wondering this, if I moved my save to PC, then did those commands and went back to xbox, would it work? (I'll know in a few hours, re-installing my PC's OS (buggy driver install broke windows :( long story... But if anyone already knows it won't work, please save me the hassle. :D thanks)

Some really cool stuff in this thread I wanna try out now.

I heard Bethesda can ban you for using a console command in a single player game in XBOX

It's mainly to prevent cheating for that achievement.

But meh, I say you shouldn't care for achievements in a game where finishing the tutorial nets you an achievement, but that's for another thread

1. How would they know? I doubt Beth will look through everyones (local) savegames to check for any console command misuse.
2. I already 1000/1000 Skyrim :)
3. I have done it before countless times on Oblivion. (Even made a house using only vanilla stuff, then transferred save to xbox, worked like a charm).

Also, I know it's a very grey area and shouldn't be discussed openly (probably), but I am just looking for the answer to whether it works. :P

Also the set timescale command is another I wanna adjust slightly. time just flies too fast standard. Takes me 5 minutes to walk from one room to another? Really?

I don't exactly remember, I think it has something to do with the whole achievement thing, they already can check your savegame for that. Probably just me being paranoid or something, though, can't find anything about save games being banned

Well, I love Beth, they seem happy and eager about what mods are still to come. So I doubt they would have a ban all xbox modders attitude.

MS can't check my local gamesaves for anything, they can release patches that can do their dirty work for them, but ultimately, nothing comes of it cos they can't prove one way or the other. They just know that everyone who did it, can't do it anymore due to the patches changes to the savegame itself. Aaaanyway, I mod a lot of xbox saves for about a year now, and nothing come of it, not even warnings. Had a few funny messages from people when I played as lvl 255 on xbox though. :P "How the hell???" I lie and tell em it's a secret standing stone I found. Good to keep a game of mystery going with idiots.

Microsoft don't like it Bethesda cooperate with MS so you can not discuss it in this forum.
Using the savegame on a PC is the recommended way to cure yourself of vampirism on PS3 in Oblivion.

I haven't tried multiple wards. Perhaps they stack. Someone should try it.
And yes, we have stoneflesh, and it works. But it does not protect against spells of course.

I wonder why you can't enchant with stoneflesh, my mage could really use a shield enchantment.

Have you tried using Stoneflesh as enchantment? I assume they are the Armor - XXX effects:

00051B15 Armor - Oak =(ArmorFFSelf0)=
00059B7C Armor - Ebony =(ArmorFFSelf75)=
00059B7B Armor - Iron =(ArmorFFSelf50)=
00059B7A Armor - Stone =(ArmorFFSelf25)=

If it is permanent, at least now battlemages are no longer bound to actual armors to get decent armor rating (although it kinda wastes one enchantment slot)

Just got Skyrim up and going on PC, transferred over my save cos I don't want to have to start over.

Anyway, I just did "playerenchantobject 0003aeb9 0010757f" and it gave me a Blades Sword with "+22 Unrelenting Force Strong", but it isn't working?
Any idea?

Yes, the 0010757f refers to a MQ (Main Quest) effect. It does not work.
Use: 0007F82F Unrelenting Force Strong =(VoiceUnrelentingForceEffect03)=

Maybe
00016D46 Unrelenting Force Strong =(DragonVoiceUnrelentingForceEffect)=
works as well, but I'm not sure.
