Simple question what's the coolest armor you have seen, feel free to post screen shots of your characters gear if you think it looks cool. So far the coolest armor has to be nightingales I say.

I'm a big fan of the look of the Glass Armor, honestly, though I use the Dragonscale Armor, atm, for the higher stats.
The Nigthengale Armor is cool, but I think it looks too much like a black variation of Altair's Assassin's Creed outfit.

Nightingale, Ebony, and Glass are my personal favorites, they look the best/coolest to me.

I like the forsworn dear head piece thing. I need to enchant one into something to do with Hircine. Wolf Armour is pretty sweet for same reason also,

As lame as it sounds I love the look of the female/male version of Ulfric's hide(?) armor that he wears.

kinda weird when i play a female toon and put it on it automatically changes color and fits her perfectly...lol

Ancient Nordic Helmet (My favorite so far)
Imperial Helmet (the full faced Silver Color + Broom Top-Centurion Look)
Nightingale Hood
Guild master (Thieves Guild) Hood

Dwarven (On Elves it looks beast cause its HUGE)
Savior's Hide (looks like something off of He-Man)
Ebony Mail
Dark Brotherhood Robes
Guild master (Thieves Guild) Chest Armor

Hands:
Elven Gauntlets <----Goes good with most outfits, even robes.
Thalmor Gloves

Boots:
Fine Boots (The Black/Cuffed ones)

Shields:
Spellbreaker still one of the coolest ones, and has a bad ass effect.
