Tullius' armour. I just wish we were given something like it as a reward at the end of the Legion questline, instead of some crappy scaled random weapon.

I'd be a lot more fond of the Wolf armor if it were....more wolf-like :P

For Light Armour, I like the Savior's Hide (Hircine daedric artifact).

This is what I wear on my deerslayer. Great looking piece. I also really like Tullius' armor, the Wolf armor, orc armor, forsworn armor, and the Nightingale armor.

How come there aren't any chainmail? Since Nord culture is based on viking culture, there should at least be chainmail. Mods, I guess.

All of the http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/6/6b/Solitude_Guard.jpg/http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/0/0c/Stormcloak_Armor.jpg Armor is chainmail and leather.

My favorite armor is the Nightingale.

Got to admit the Savior's Hide armour looks well on female characters.

Yeah, I'm also looking quite forward to Modders creating some awesome mail and scale armour. And some proper looking nordic helmets (No horns!!), a good shield (this one looks good, but a bit low texture - And I'm sure as hell not wearing any Swedish colours! http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3426).

That's the ONLY one?

Yes, the ebony mail is a unique daedric artifact not to be confused with regular ebony armor. It's got some nice powers on it too for sneaky characters. :)

For my male warrior build...

Steel armor (without the steel shoulder pads)
Wolf Boots and Gauntlets
Ancient Nord Helmet
Steel Shield
Skyforge Steel Sword

For my female warrior companion, Mjoll..

Ancient Nord armor, boots, and gauntlets
Skyforge Steel Battleaxe
Dragonscale Helmet

Playing on level 43 and am EXTREMELY thankful for smithing/enchanting for making these "early" armors useful later on in the game. :-)
