All of the armor you can create you can find somewhere(Ancient nord?)

What are you looking for? If you aren't looking for any type. I would say Nightingale for Sneaky archer, Penatus Oculatus armor for Archer, Wolf armor with Dragon mask for Medium armored looking fellow with Shield of Ysgramor, and for Heavy; Ebony Armor easily

mine is Steel armor without the steel shoulders. Witch fur boots and mages hood

I like steel plate armor best of all the heavy armors (by a wide margin), and I'm a fan of the elven armor and a couple of the fur variants for certain types of character. Of course, the nightingale armor is pretty rad, too, especially if you download the hi-res mod for it. The guildmaster's armor isn't too bad either.

Well it's the only one I have. If you count robes as armor the Archmage's robes are pretty cool (and have fantastic stats)

Horned scale armor is awesome for a barbarian style character.

I dont know if its just me, but i cant find an armour im totally happy with tbh, i usually run round with leather bots and bracers and the solitude guards armour.

I fluctuate between Dragon plate and Daedric without helmets. Sometimes Steel Plate and Ebony. Loved the Ebony Mail in my first playthrough though.

Ebony Mail and Dragonplate are my favorite heavy armors. But I like to use Steel or Steel Plate for most of the game, until I have some achievements under my belt.

As for light armor, I like Scaled Armor for my warrior types and Leather/Dragonscale for my sneaky toons. I like Nightingale for my Dark Elf because I'm starting to hate the way I made his face and the Nightingale hood covers it up.

I like the alternate Fur armor, the one without a chest part or sleeves, but it`s quite hard to get hold of.

How come there aren't any chainmail? Since Nord culture is based on viking culture, there should at least be chainmail. Mods, I guess.

On topic: I think Steel Plate is the coolest armor in the game, and I'll wear it till the day I die (literally).

I like the nightengale armor, but it needs a cape. Plus the benefits of it never really fit my character.

Female Shield-Maiden:
Banded Iron Armor
Ancient Nord Gauntlets
Ancient Nord Boots
Apprentice Mage Hood
Banded Iron Shield (Targe when you get it).
Skyforge Steel Sword/axe

Male
Wolf Armor (Full set).
Banded Iron Shield or Steel Shield
Weapon of choice (I normally get stuck with the skyforge ones).

Dwemer armour, followed by Steel plated, followed by Ancient Nord (and their weapons are easily the best looking weapons in the game). Haven't really gone into the light armour yet.

I swear by my Falmer armor, but I like the look of Orcish a lot, too. I'd be a lot more fond of the Wolf armor if it were....more wolf-like
