Coolest Detail you've noticed?

Post » Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:48 am

With Dialogue, abilities, quests, items etc. One thing I noticed recently is if you're an elf, Paarthurnax will say, "Greet me not as elf, but as Dovah!" If you're a human race, the word elf is replaced with mortal. I noticed this only now because I never played that far into the MQ as a Mer.

I also liked how early in the MQ Farengar wonders if a dragon could be captured alive, and then later...well...you know.

Ants . . . on a tree stump . . . at Half-Moon Mill . . . Next to the grindstone there.

Also Neloth wonders if a Dragon could be captured alive because it would make a fascinating test subject . . .

Um . . .

Should we point him to Dragonsreach?

Just need another dragon's name to call XD

Probably hearing about "cheap elven spices" yesterday from a grumbling pompous....certain redguard......in Whiterun. Now I know what elves ear and frost mirriam are.

One thing that made me chuckle early on was that interactive book....olaf and the dragon? And if you choose to go to the inn it says "You are poisoned, because the proprietors are elves and naturally thieves." The blatant racism off it put me in stiches...talk about Nordic prejudice!

You mean the Redguard that talks about the cloud district?

Wrong book, it is Kolb & the Dragon.

How are the first two details?

Those are characters and involved in two respective questlines.

The shrine of Mara that appears at the Dead Lovers Camp.

Birds that fly from the trees. Fish in the water. Water that moves.

Beaches that look like beaches with water that ebbs and flows.

You are right. I am not awake yet.

Dead Lovers Camp? *goes to look it up*

Can't find it but surprised that there was only a statue of Mara there.

Um . . . how can you tell that?

Let me guess, PC and mods right?

I don't think those count to be honest, as in the mods.

When he shouts he sounds like a human, not hssss'ish like a lizard in Oblivion. It's not a mod, it's the game.

I like when crafting people comment on stuff you make, unfortunately its only a one time thing.

Example: If you avoid enchanting in front of farengar, if you go to where he is at level 100 enchanting and make somthing, he will say something other than "thats a decent enchantment"

I need to do this with smithing but i always use the adriane's/alvors forge and forget.

That reminds me of how if your enchanting is level 90 or above and you ask Neloth to rain you, he says, "I could, but I won't. It wouldn't do to have you become better than me after all."
