Discussion on coolest set of gear for a character

I like Nordic Carved but don't use the helmet because it really doesn't fit the set in my opinion. I replace it with a circlet.

I personally like steel plate, ebony (for European knight look) & Dawnguard

I'm probably one of the weird ones here in that I don't like the Nordic carved. Just doesn't appeal to me. As far as the nicest looking, to me it doesn't get nicer than a full set of ebony.

Ebony is nice...if you're into dark knights, or "goth" kind of things...

Linwe's armour for me. I was disappointed with the look of leather armour in this game, it looks kinda lame tbh, twas one of my favourite sets in oblivion.

Heavy: Steel-plate all the way. If weight is not an issue then Ebony. If Light, then Glass. Beautiful to look at.

I can't get into the Nordic Carved Armor. I like the upper body craftsmanship, the gauntlets and the boots. But don't like the greaves.

Look like fishnet stockings at close quarters on my female character.

I completely agree with this. I don't like my armor to show off my thighs, and that helmet! It's like wearing a cone on your head! Probably the only armor set I actually don't like.

If I had to pick the coolest... Dawnguard heavy. Instantly transforms you're level 10 zero into a hero.

Don't forget that giant frisby sticking out of your shoulder. He, I really do hate the look of it, oh well.
