Is Core i3 530 2.93 Ghz good enough for Skyrim? Please details!

You have the wrong forum (should be in the hardware forum), but I think it should be fine. I know the i3 2100 handles it without a hitch, but it is clocked a little higher and has sandybridge architecture. So your 530 won't handle it quite as well, but I think it should be fine for this game.
