Corn in Skyrim

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 5:33 pm

I'm worried that there will be no corn in Skyrim given all the snow and cold and and snow and such.

Corn was my favorite part of Oblivion. I would spend my days at Shetcombe Farm, harvesting corn from sunup to sundown. I never even finished any of the quests. Corn was my quest. I was the Grand Champion of Corn Arena, Speaker of the Corn Brotherhood, and Arch Harvester of the Corn Guild.

I have corn blood. I'm a high priest corn assassin warlock who will destroy all the droopy-eyed, armless, sad trolls who don't like corn.

If corn isn't included in Skyrim, it's a deal breaker for me.

I want corn for me to harvest. Corn for me to eat. Corn for me to pop. Creamed corn, corn pudding, corn bread, corn nuts, pop corn, corn, corn, corn...

If it's too much work for them to get it in Skyrim now I don't mind paying for a Corn DLC.

It appears that you are obsessed with corn. My suggestion: go buy a can of corn and have some for supper....

Also: I like how you found a way to use the word corn so many times in the first post, and that you made the word yellow. ;)

Oblivion's corn wasn't as good as Morrowind's. Hope Skyrim's is better, if they put it in.

Also, I hope we'll be able to ride corn.

Hm, that sounds dirty. But then, I could probably make anything sound dirty if I really wanted to.

I hope we'll be able to put corn on a long stick and use it to fight Hunger.

OMG! They better include corn! Can we make a spear out of the corn? I sure hope so... Or deadly throwing corn. That would be good too - probably there will be corn-crafting stations for that.

I outright refuse. What the hell will we do without corn?

But must it be traditional corn, or are we going to go by the term that people love to point out every time I bring up the word corn, which is "Corn is actually called Maize, and the word Corn is just used to describe the primary cash crop of a region (you ignorant, stuck up American)."?

We must eat corn, drink corn, and sleep with corn at least once a day or suffer negative effects.

[edit] Or Korn.

Yes! Jeremy Soule is getting boring, we need Korn to do the Skyrim soundtrack.

Corn spears, eh? I imagine that would be pretty unpleasant for the victim of a corn attack. I'd hate to be on the receiving end. :hubbahubba:

A world without corn is a world not worth living in.

Yeah, I don't like the way Bethesda seem to be dumbing down the corn. It's a real slap in the face to all us loyal corn fans.

I share your concern as I am also a high priest corn assassin warlock. Bethesda shouldn't have picked a fight with corn warlocks. I would also like to state the following: Winning!

I would like to see blue corn implemented in the game. Y'know, in case we get bored of yellow corn....

I hope we can make popcorn by rosting corn over an open fire. Then with butter from the non existing cows and you have a party.

Yeah none of this artificial American mutant yellow corn.

Maize, mountain maize, spicy maize, sweet maize, dried maize, waxy maize...

Further, I demand a cornsilk hair option, in a variety of colors, of course.
