Hello

I have just reinstalled my Oblivion game. It's a box (vanilla) version. I found some old savegames (from 2006) and tried to load them, and it said they were corrupt. I just installed the latest version of the game (1.2.0416) and still it says that it's corrupt.

Can anyone please help me to get them to work? I uploaded one of the *.ess save files http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10484650/obli_save.rar if anyone mind testing it..

Unfortunately if they are corrupted then you will never be able to use them again... I wish I could say otherwise but it just can't be fixed... Your only choice on that is to simply delete the corrupted files and start over...

how come they just got corrupted like that?
