I personally don't have alot of use for corundum ingots, beyond steel plate armor, banded armor and the improving of those items there isn't much use for the ingots. I think it would be a good idea to allow players to smelt their corundum ingots with iron ingots to create a couple steel ingots. It would allow for more convenient steel smithing.

That's a idea. They could add that in with the dlc
