Cosplay

I have a few designs for some simple cosplay. Calvin & Hobbes, Pig Pen, Ninja Turtles made from street clothes and a backpack.

Is there anything that you have worn, designed?

Was it a simple project or how complex did your costume become? Did you even see it coming?

What would you recommend to anyone thinking of designing a costume?

It always amazed me how intricate and exact some of the costumes can be. Something that I'd never thought about assembling and just leaving it to the pros. Then it dawned on me that I didn't need to spend hours (learning to) sew or add any of the molded accents to a suit for it to come across well. Just some time spent into assembling some pieces with consistency. And I'm sure the bar moves from there. Not yet assembled a full suit, I still need to see if I can pull of a good costume or if I am just blowing smoke. Hopefully something I can complete by the end of the year.

I have a few sites on my Facebook page they do alot of designs for cosplayers, Replica prop forum, Skruffy Studios, Punished props, Volpin props a few sites to look at. I tried once to help a friend to make a costume, never finished it but foam sheets seem very popular at the moment to make costumes from, that what we used and its great to work with.
