What I wanted: Get some info, was hoping for some actual discussion or something like that. I actualy tried to act nicely, believe me I tryed.
What I got:....you can read It by yourself, back to BRINK forums only for some time.
I was rly trying to be nice FYI, because I hate when people get trolled just because "they are "different"". You deserve are the trolling you are getting. If admin can lock this, he shall get a cookie.

What you did:

Stated some really pathetic sixist view, which you then took back, which you then reinstated, then claimed to take back.

Your calling us the troll?

I'm not sure whether I should type something long and eloquent when someone opens up a thread like this. So I'll just say that everyone should enjoy any kind of show they like, and that it is not surprising that people enjoy a show if writing and humour offer lots of entertainment for them. In case of kids shows, the more the parents can enjoy them too, the better.

Not really sure what he is trying to say with this thread at this point either. Now he just doesn't want to be viewed as closed minded it seems.

What I get from this post:

The mythical "Ponny People" are invading the land of hardcoe and threatening masculinity by harvesting manhoods at night.

SOUNDS GOOD

No one is harvesting my manhood in the dead of night... :stare:

Dammit woman, you should have the pie ready already.

See, I knew this whole pony thing was a bad idea. Where's your friendships now? You ran him off to Brink. For shame.

Dammit, I didn't show the element of Kindness, now I can't be Fluttershy!

Ok, I'll be Barefoot Preggo-Twinkles. Tattoo a pearl necklace cutie-mark on my ass and we're all set. My element is the Element Of Pastry.

I can't understand the whole 'Grown men watching MLP' craze. I find it highly immasculine. But, I don't watch it, and they don't force me to watch it, so aside from making snide remarks, I leave them alone.

Well I find the show to have better writing then you will see with most cartoons anymore with nicely done characters and had a oddly additive charm to it. Its actually rather adorable but not nauseating so, genuinely enjoyable and fun, humor that isn't just for little girls, and while the central plot for many episodes have been used plenty of times in children shows (which is not necessarily a bad thing depending on the theme) does this without turning into a mindnumbing cliche.

The show was created also with the intention of amusing parents who's children watch MLP so some advlt humor is slipped in and hence why many grown men chose to watch the show aside from the daww effect. Given that normally I'm more into grimdark things MLP was a nice change of pace and an enjoyable one at that, one that by no means threatens my masculinity.

Watching My Little Pony is what drove me to get a job as a fireman. Now whenever I watch an episode I can make sure I'm still "hardcoe" and "not automatically homo" by rescuing kittens and small children from burning buildings.

Of course, whenever I buy a new purse I have to resort to being Batman...

Just give it a try. That's always the first step to understanding.

Well said.

Also examples: Mustaches, and the floppy horn.
