(MP) Could we get some louder footsteps?

Post » Thu Nov 11, 2010 8:44 pm

I feel like the footsteps in MP are much too quiet. I don't play with a headset, but I'm pretty good at hearing people around me if I'm not firing my weapon in other FPSs. As it is currently, pretty much everyone has Covert Ops for free, which means there's a wasted Module out there. Anybody else with me on this?

I'm just tired of people running full speed up to melee me and me not hearing a sound.

I hope you're right. Thisis a great game at it's core, just needs some TLC to unleash it's true potential

If you dont hear anything you are deaf. If anything footsteps are too loud.

I can hear people further away than I probably should on some maps; especially Pier 17 where the firefights are more spread out.

If thought the title was sarcastic, footsteps are way too loud.

Either wear headphones or turn your volume up. I don't seem to have a problem with hearing peoples footsteps.

I'm on PS3, and I can't hear them, or really, my own unless I'm in armor mode

I'm on PS3 too and I have no trouble. Maybe it's your TV or something. Try fiddling with the in-game settings, the PS3 sound settings and your TV settings and see if you can get a more satisfactory result.
