I'm supposed to bring the Pulse Gun to the elder but he and Veronica just stand there doing nothing and this prevents me from continuing the quest.

Help?

Does the journal in the PIPboy tell you to go back? The trick is to walk up the Overseer but stand a bit off to the side in front of his desk. This should trigger Veronica to walk up and start the conversation.

You can't post links until you have been on the boards for a while

You also can't ever post images directly to the boards, only links to those images.

Have you talked to Veronica and has she told you to go back to the Elder? Does your Journal tell you to go see the Elder? Have you spoken to the Elder?

Also, I have had to reload a save from before I arrived and walked in again.

I currently have 3 active objectives for this quest:

* Bring the pulse gun back to the elder at Hidden Valley.

* Return with Veronica to the Brotherhood of Steel elder with the evidence of the Brotherhood's misguided priorities.

* Recover the experimental data from Vault 22.

Walking in and out of the room make it so I can't speak to the Elder NcNamara or to Veronica, pressing E while pointing at one of them results in nothing.

I don't know if the next few things matter, but I'll write them down anyway:

* I have 2 pulse guns in my inventory.

* I'm overencrumbered.
