Whilst playing through the quest I Could Make You Care, I'm in vault 34's armory and have taken the Pulse Gun out of the footlocker (using Pearl's key) yet the quest does not progress, it only says: "Recover the Pulse Gun from Vault 34, if it still exists." Can anyone help? :confused:

From the wiki:
After obtaining the Pulse Gun, your pipboy may still show the objective "find the Pulse Gun in Vault 34".

* SOLUTION: Drop the Pulse Gun on the ground and wait for several seconds; pick it back up. The Quest should update and ask you to return to the Elder.
