could Nerevar be in the game?

since Nerevar is a god and Vvardenfell is destroyed... could he have migrated to Skyrim? could we see Vivec? I think it would be cool to see Nerevar in skyrim..

With the Nerevarine being the player in TES3:Morrowind I can't see that being possible since it would ruin immersion creating a canon Nerevarine. I could see rumors though about him/her but not an actual appearance and even then that is a stretch since it is 200 years after Oblivion.

Sounds pretty damn awesome, you should make a mod for Skyrim with that story.

My Skyrim mod will be more awesome than that :D TRUST me.

Check your lore, dude. Nerevar is not a god. Plus, he died thousands of years ago. Perhaps you are talking about the Nerevarine, his reincarnation. He is not a god either though, and mortal just as well.

At best the Nerevarine will be mentioned in some books or something. Won't appear though.. doesn't make sense. The Nerevarines companion Julan Kaushibael will make a return as a Dunmer ranger in my Skyrim though :D. Oh how I can't wait to play the Dunmer who fought at red mountain with Moraelyn the Nerevarine and had to watch his homeland destroyed on multiple occasions by the lapse in Vivecs magic and invasions over the last 200 years. *tear*

The Nerevarine is ageless and will not die unless someone or something manages to kill him/her.

Same with vampires and liches. Doesn't mean their gods. The nerevarine just happens to be a diseased immortal, like how vampires are also diseased immortals, only he was infected with The Divine Disease, instead of vampirism.

Heck, Dyviath Fyr is older than the Tribunal, has lived almost as long as recorded history, and still looked as though he's not even close to kicking the bucket. Doesn't mean he's a god.

Nerevar is dead. But the Nerevarine is indeed immortal due to being infected with the Corpus disease (all the benefits of the disease and none of the symptoms, thank you Divayth Fyr!). The Nerevarine will not, however, make a physical appearance in Skyrim. This is because Beth will never destroy your PC by giving them a physical form in a future game. I fully expect to find references to both the Nerevarine and the Champion of Cyrodiil, as well as the Warp in the West; all the things that the PC did from each game through the main quest are still true and relevant. The Champion of Cyrodiil and the Nerevarine will never actually be shown though.

In Oblivion we learned that the Nerevarine went on an expedition to Akavir and hasn't returned, so you can make whatever you want out of that, maybe he died, maybe he just stayed there, maybe he's still travelling the world.

Outside of advertisemants, there is no canonical Nerevarine. Mine was Argonian.

I sort of wish they would go back and canonize their heroes.

The Courier from Fallout New Vegas isn't exactly a blank slate, having many implied personality traits and characteristics, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it that way (as evidenced by my avatar). There's nothing wrong with allowing the player to make whoever he wants while dropping little bits of dialog on the player every so often that point towards a certain characteristic or game decision, imo.
