I know that reviews aren't allowed to be published before the release of skyrim but does that mean that some people could already have the game so they can review it?
I've actually been playing the game this whole time. Every topic I've ever created is nothing more than bread crumbs. Me and Todd Howard have sleepovers all the time and play it all night long, drink Mountain Dew Code Red and eat pizza. Todd almost ate a whole pizza by himself. fatty.
in all seriousness though- don't think anyone has it.
In all seriousness, if it isn't gold yet, it's very close to it. With submission to certification, printing discs and shipping it for a global launch date, they should be more or less done at this point.
It does not have to go gold for someone to have a copy, game sites frequently get copies before the game goes gold..gold only means the gold disk is made for them to ship to the printing company to make all the copies that are being sent out to the public..i highly doubt anyone has a copy yet but within a week or two the game sites will start getting copies of the game.
That would mean the game was actually in some store over 1 month before release... just sitting there....... I think games generally come in more like the week before/of release
Maybe the people who are in charge of making the game might have copies but other than that I think no
I wonder how it all works , on what date do they start having the factory crank out 2 million copies of Skyrim? Is it all done in 1 day? Does it take weeks/a month straight of factory work to get them all made? Do they have a REAL wizard who conjures the copies? Who knows?!
I would like to see new release video games/dvds/blu rays/cds featured on a show like "How its made" , to answer these questions
Big companies like bethesda usualy make review copies that gets sent out before release date so that reviews can come out the same time as the game, but that wont be be atleast until there is a week until launch

Andrew Reiner from Game Informer tweeted the other day that they will get review code before launch. Probably by the end of the month, so about 3 weeks.
