could we please ge ta list of names that will be spoken by other characters? i want to know if my name will be on that list or any of my ideas for cool fictional character adaptions will be available?

I suspect this is another thing we won't see until launch, or ever (tho give dataminers a day or two once the game is out and they will have a list for ya)

Doubt any information will surface about spoken names before release, But if and I hope Beth has a sense of humour and lets us have names like Ivor Bigun and Phil McKraken spoken ingame that would be spectacular.

Supposedly they've record 1000 of the most popular names, so if the name you want appears on this list it is possible it was recorded.

I doubt that would be possible. As Todd Howard indicated in the E3 presser, they recorded 1000 of the most popular names.

I'm kinda glad in a way, if they did release a list the forums would just be flooded with "my names not on there, waah!" threads.

Well minus one or two silly Easter egg names, for example we know from the Quakecon/gamescom demo that f*ckface is one of the "names" on the list.

As long as the list is available during chatacter creation I don't mind. Trying to guess would be annoying.

I doubt that, since in the end I suspect its only suppose to be a minor Easter egg feature of codsworth, so I don't see why Beth would bother cluttering up the character creation screen with a list that spoils it.

Yeah I'm assuming codsworth is the only NPC that will be able to say your name. Also my name is third on that list, I didn't think my name was that popular. That or the website isn't going from most popular to least, it's just stating 1000 common names.

Those are most popular baby names. People born in 2014 will not be playing Fallout 4. I'm assuming They'll be going for the top 1000 names across the demographics that play their games.
