Could Skyrim pull a Hammerfell on the Dominion?

Post » Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:57 am

Teleportation that would have been used to evacuate from the Imperial City during the Battle of Red Ring. Teleportation would have also made taking Hammerfell possible. Teleporting Large Armies has never been a reality in TES.

EDIT Kyne did teleport an entire Army off a Battlefireld, but She is an Aerdra, and She used Her Voice to do it.

yes i think they could specially if they had dovahkiin on their side... i mean Ulfric can shout, the dovahkiin is now the Ultimate Dragonborn that can call 2 dragons! 1 that doesnt die plus the hero of Sovngarde while in DragonAspect! with the stormcloak army, More the Skyrim forces(civillians) that would protect their homeland against the elves yeah im pretty sure Skyrim could pull a Hammerfell  and this is the Stormcloak version then we also have the Imperial wich is a even Larger forces but i would preffer that Dovahkiin stayed with Ulfric or with the Greybeards

The ships would probably be taken out by a few mages from the college and creating a force large enough to destroy a city would probably need at least 70 extremely skilled and elite magicians. Something like 70 Neloths.

I'm pretty sure the Aldmeri Dominion is capable of getting that amount of Mages.

Not of that standard. There's probably only 20-30 mages on a par with Neloth. The Dominion have many battlemages but very few Master Wizards.

You know, the Forsworn use magic too and they've historically been the Nords whipping boys, save for when every Nord warrior went south to aid the failing, corrupt Empire.

The Forsworn are savages using sacrifices and what not.

Magic is their racial talent, Magic flows through their blood.

Why does that matter? Bretons are historically known for making excellent mages. Mages didn't help against the Nord shield wall led by General Jonna in the Imperial City when the Thalmor tried to escape and died like slaughtered lambs.

They weren't slaughtered by the Nords alone, they were squashed by all the forces. They were surrounded.

Who would help them? Nords hate magic. They don't like mages. Winterhold is proof. Why would the mages help them? Or would the mages now have to prove themselves to the Nords?

Unless you wee being sarcastic, then okay.

I didn't ignore it (I don't even know what you're talking about), I was addressing the other part of your post. You were talking so someone else about the Bretons.

Oh, right, the Thalmor.

Dude, General Jonna's legion was composed of Nords. They came from Skyrim. The battle of the fleeing Thalmor vs the Imperials who blocked their way was all Nord vs magical Elf.

And Nords won.

Army of Battlemages/Spellswords/Mages > Army of Warriors/Archers

I mean, even in the game, just look at the Thalmor patrols, they all are Spellswords with a Wizard at the top, they are disciplined, organized, their ranks are powerful, once again, they have MAGIC at their disposal.

Not only that, but Ulfric can pull an Ysgramor on the Dominion.

That's one of the reasons to support the Empire.Ulfric might go too far and civilian normal hight elves might end up dead along with the Thalmor types and their brainwashed army.

It wasn't just Nords. There were the majority in that Legion. So don't give credit to the Nords alone. They were pushed all the way back from the other Legions. The Legion by Jonna blocked the escape. They were the wall, and together with the rest of the Legions, crushed the Dominion.

Titus II led the assault from the north, personally capturing Lord Naarifin. It is rumored the Emperor wielded the famed sword http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Goldbrand, although this has never been officially confirmed by the Imperial government. An attempt by the Aldmeri to break out of the city to the south was blocked by the unbreakable shieldwall of General Jonna's battered legions.

by the unbreakable shieldwall of General Jonna's battered legions.

General Jonna's battered legions.

Nope. All Nords.
