Could somebody explain how to get loads of free stuff from D

Post » Fri Aug 26, 2011 3:15 am

Yes, it's my third thread in an hour, but I've spread each one over three forums, so it's cool. I'm not sure if this belongs in cheats and hints, though?

Anyway, yeah. I played DM, loved it, but my character wasn't great on luck. So... I didn't gamble at all, nor did I accumulate much chips. And now I hear that people got unlimited something or other from the Sierra Madre. Character 2 is there now, and I'd like to leave with a little something.

Spoiler
Win 7,500 chips at the Sierra Madre casino and you get a complimentary voucher for 1,000 free chips. When you go back to the Wasteland, you get another voucher for 1,000 chips in the Abandoned BoS Bunker dropbox every three game days. Cash in the vouchers at the vending machine in the bunker and use the chips to buy more stimpaks, .308 rounds, doctor's bags, etc. than you'll ever hope to use.

Gambling is beneficial because it gives you a free voucher for 1000 Chips (which respawns every 3 days) as the third prize. But what I believe is the way most people get money is by collecting all of the Gold Bars. After exiting the Sierra Madre, they travel to the Holovendors and slowly trade all of their bars for Pre-War Money, which can then be converted to Caps in the Mojave. I don't need the extra caps, so I personally have never done this.

All the vouchers I've ever gotten have been good for 1,000 chips. But the box spawns chips as well as vouchers.

Same here, mine sit safely tucked in my chest at the foot of my bed in the Lucky 38. :disguise:
