When i equip a (heavy)shield it only adds 5 AR. Does this have to do with the light armor perk custom fit? I was pretty certain that perk is ok as long as it is head, chest, hands, and feet.

I have not tried using a light shield yet. Thank talos the stahlrim shield AND dawnguard rune shield is considered light... but the nordic shield is heavy and thats my favorite shield
