Could the Last Dragonborn mantle Alduin?

Hi everyone

I might be way off thinking this, but could the Last Dragonborn possibly mantle Alduin? I was looking at the events of Skyrim, and there's quite a lot of times where we walk like Alduin:

1. We devour the souls of others to increase our own strength

2. We are flung through time at the Throat of the World because of an Elder Scroll

3. We travel to and from Sovengarde despite being alive

4. We are recognized as the most powerful Dovah at the end of the main questline

The interesting thing about the first two points is, like our title, they mirror Alduin in an opposite fashion (Last Dragonborn vs Firstborn of Akatosh, a Mortal devouring Dragon souls compared to a Dragon devouring the souls of Mortals, Alduin is flung from the Merethic Era into the Fourth Era, while our character is flung from the Fourth Era into the Merethic Era.

Does this theory make sense to anyone else, or am I just off my rocker and clearly not understanding the concept of mantling?

Thanks

The process of mantling is basically "Walk like X until X walks like you."

While the Dovahkiin can be considered to be taking steps to mantle Alduin, the road basically stops once Alduin is defeated in Sovengarde. Unless s/he decides to carve out an empire in Skyrim and bring back the Dragon Cult, among other things that Alduin did or tried to do, it's unlikely that it'll happen.
