Could Yagrum Bagarn from Morrowind still be alive?

Could Yagrum Bagarn (the Dwemer with corprus) from Morrowind still be alive? I've read that Divayth Fyr is still alive during the events in Skyrim, so I'm curious if it's possible that he might have survived the eruption of Red Mountain. Could he have been cured of his corprus symptoms like Nerevarine was?

Maybe. He has corprus, so he'll live forever until someone or something kills him. However, Red Mountain exploded and all that jazz, so he might have died during all of that. If Divayth Fyr is still alive during Skyrim (where did you read that, by the way?) then there's a chance he saved Yagrum Bagarn as well.

He is mentioned in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Skyrim as the only wizard alive who can travel between realms at will.

I'm not quite sure if it's accurate or not, as it appears to lack a citation.

I forgot where I read it but I recall that when Red Mountain was about to explode and Divyath Fyr offered Yagrum a chance to escape, he denied it claiming he's lived long enough. Divyath respected Yagrums wishes and left him on Vvardenfall. Don't ask me to cite it because I can't remember

Fanfic I guess.

Anyway I'd like Yagrum to still be alive. Knowing Fyr's power he could probably phase his tower out of reality for a year or something.

Yagrum Bagarn and Divath Fyr could have fled to Solstheim with the other refugees. Perhaps building a new sanctuary there.
That or like the College of Winterhold, Divath Fyr had forseen the eruption of Red Mountain and placed wards to protect the tower.

I don't honestly believe Yagrum Bagarn is dead. There is too much potential in him for future games, so I don't feel Bethesda would kill him off.

Perhaps in a future game you can revive all dwemer by un-doing whatever they did to try and make Numidium a god.
