I agree. If the official website isn't updated soon though then I will start to disagree. Games been announced for almost two months. Its time to update the website.
Yea if the website isn't updated this month I'm going to start to get worried.
Ya know, this won't stop people from complaining. Everyone was excited until the game was announced, then all the doubts started.
Sorry, this needed to be said.
I don't doubt anything. Skyrim is my most anticipated game of all time and I've been gamimg for over twenty years. I can't wait for the game and I am going to play it forever when it comes out.
But it doesn't matter everyone on this forum is buiying the game. Except those guys who hate steam, if its steam required.
I think the people on these forums have already decided one way or the other. I know I'll buy it, but probably not on release day. New information coming out probably won't change that.
Their target is the general public of gamers, who might say "Oh, wow, pretty pictures!" and get Grandma to buy it for them for Christmas.
Oh and the fact we rant about Todd is also another form of advertisemant and well MONEY. So I guarantee Todd is smart enough to realize the whole "Toddd!!" youtube skid is more free advertisemant. Ofcourse I doubt he wants to be the next Chuck Norris so he's going to do all in his power to make us happy and healthy. BTW Off Topic but whats the deal with the Barbra Streisand stuff on youtube?
Whatever creates publicity for the existence of the game in the first place is their marketing engine doing its job. It doesn't matter how coherent the information is until a few months before release when people are deciding whether to preorder. Sad, but true.
100% agreed. Bioware does things like this the right way. I think we know less about Dragon Age II than Skyrim right now... and Dragon Age II comes out in a month.
Hoohoo, that was funny. Did you catch Bioware's big announcement yesterday? Anyway, maybe it's not too late for Bethesda to license a Marilyn Manson song for the Skyrim marketing campaign.
That's your problem. I mean, come on. The French magazine writes that athletics is gone because it was too easy boosting it by jumping on the spot. No amount of good translation from ca.tchoup's part or mine can make sense of that. And if the journalist can write that, how can I trust that he has correctly transcribed the info he's been given ?
That's true. So many times I've seen some magazine writing the wrong stuff, and seen complaints from fans about why a clueless journalist wrote about their precious fandom object.
I like to know about the skills and combat/magic/stealth systems before I buy a game. This is triple important if im gona think of preordering it as I cant depend on what actualy gamers say it plays like and .. I dont actualy depend on anything else other then fellow gamers.
