Hello guys,

i was playing CS for now 10 years, after years of Counter Strike, i thought i play a new game, i tried much games, from battlefield to diverse mutliplayer ego shooters, but finally i think crysis 2 had beaten all, the gameplay is great, some updates can make crysis2 perfekt and number 1 egoshooter for years.

I also want to know what you thinking !

I agree with mystaz...after years of playing different FPS...
i found that FEAR multiplayer was something great... battlefield of course is in a league of its own...

but for fast paced action.... Crysis 2 multiplayer is really great...

CrySis2 is the new Counter Strike

Sometimes it seems the graphics in MP are getting upgraded all the time and i wonder if the devs aren't sneaking updates in here and there without saying cause it seems to be looking better and better.
I guess 1.8 had some nice graphics upgrades.

In the next updates i think CrySis 2 will get better and better, since the final Update come out the game will be perfect anyway!

Coming from someone who still plays CS:Source, Crysis 2 is a whole 'nother animal. Even though C2 has taken the majority of my game playing time currently, I sure hope that it will continue into the future and become a classic much like CS:S is or COD4:MW.

I just don't want it to become so small like Crysis Wars did, which I play from time to time but not as much because there just isn't enough of a community.

Yes CrySis2 is much more as CS:S or COD or BF or other multiplayer games, CrySis2 have the soul

LOL Crysis 2 and CS? rofl! Ok Crysis 2 is better in everything, but Counter Strike is great for LAN computers and quick-shooting...

Counter Strike is old TSAndrey, they dont make new Counter Strike and CS:S is not the Counter Strike we all like to play! CrySis2 is as much as the best, since Counter Strike make a new game, not the Source Engine !!

mysatz... Counter-Strike is a classic game. It's one of the most succesful FPS ever created. Crysis was great but Crysis 2 is just a mixture of CoD and a unfinised alpha version of the real Crysis 2 we ever wanted. The Source Engine is one of the greatest engines in the world. It's still the best engine for modders out there.

How can you compare Crysis 2 to Counter Strike? Completely different playstyle and game mechanics? Apples to Oranges?

Battlefield and Counter Strike are different! But Counter Strike and CrySis 2 have the same smooth!

Well Assault is very much like CS, a bit different but similar

I agree C2 has the same "addictiveness" as CS.

actually crysis 2 is a bit more similar to F.E.A.R multiplayer than UT..... F.E.A.R multiplayer is free for download if u want to try.... there's slide kicks (one hit kill), flying kicks and melee.... there's no stealth and cloak but there's Slow-mo... in certain game modes
I havent tried F.E.A.R 2 multiplayer though

there's a mean railgun there... one hit kill as well...
other differences is that you cant upgrade stats or attachments...just select ur primary and secondary weapon and go...

there's a mean nail gun with zero recoil though...and proxy mines that u can stick to the walls and ambush enemies chasing you

i kind of miss the game though... u guys should try it if you like crysis2...

hahah F.E.A.R Combat IS = F.E.A.R Multiplayer.... its the free full version of the multiplayer... without the single player...

I really enjoyed it back then when it was new....fast paced and good graphics at that time (of course Crysis 2 beats this game's graphics now).
I remember ambushing ppl with the one hit kill slide kick...by slide kicking before a corner....whoever turns at that corner instantly breaks their shin and dies

i didnt play fear MP but i think the movement and the shoot style from CrySis 2 are very comfortable with Counter Strike ( same fast, same good hitboxes ) i am speaking from CS 1.6

The shooting in Crysis2 is ok, as is the movement; and the ledge grab/stealth kills/slide are all very well done. It's a shame they haven't really found their own identity yet as a MP shooter. Hopefully the next installment will be more 'crysis'.
