Coupla' questions for your consideration

I'm currently finishing up "Old World Blues" as my last add on campaign before I go on to the Dam for the final fight. Had a thought, has anyone tried, or do you think, the Sonic Emitter you get in OWB's for disabling force fields would work in Sierra Madre on the force fields, particularly the ones to get out of the Vault at the end? If so, it would make it a lot more easier to do, you wouldn't have to time it so closely.
Also, what's the consensus on the implants you can get from the Auto Doc in the Sink, there's 3 I think, and they cost 42,000 for all three (I've already got them), but for future playthroughs I'm wondering if they're worth it. I kind of like the one where you can drink irradiated water with no bad effects, but is it worth 12,000.
Thanks for your insights,
CaptnJack

I would say probably not since DM was made before OWB. But i don't know.

I think the Sinks autodoc implants are good if you play hardcoe, but I don't usually do that. I do get the faster movement one which I think is ok, but nothing special.

I am sure it is the same graphic effect on the fields, but they should not be removable.

The only reason I say this is by now, someone would have made that connection and tried it in the game. And, then come here and tell everyone about it.

why does the sink charge you for the implants? i know its for balance, but can someone come up with a tangible reason for him having caps? to spend on a good time out with one of the light switches?

Even if the vault fields were to be removable, there is no legit way to bring the Sonic Emitter into DM.

I suppose you could add item with comands but only on pc but if you were to try it it would fail as I belive the sonic emitter can only disable thouse in OWB

I believe it was stated in-game that you cannot use it anywhere else but in OWB's force field facilities.
