A couple of points : Shotguns and Levelling.

So, we all know that there are several Perks for increasing the damage output of various guns, but none of them list Shotguns. So, I feel the need to inquire, do any of them affect shotguns? Does it vary? Surely it'd be Rifleman for standard Pump-Action/Semi Auto Shotguns, right?

Secondly, levelling attributes. Of course, you can continue to level up past level 200, and yet, I would imagine most people would want to find all of the bonuses you can earn in the world before potentially wasting a point on something that they didn't need to. Case in point, Strength. I have the Bobblehead and I've checked the Wiki, but seeing as that's a work in progress, I feel the need to ask here. Are there any other permanent Attribute increases to Strength in the game other than the Bobblehead? Carrying capacity being something I always invest in, but I went with Endurance, Intelligence and Agility at the start and left Strength at 4.

So, yeah, I just wanted to know these 2 things.

Shotguns are governed by the Rifleman perk, you are correct.

Not sure about strength increases beyond the bobblehead, but you can increase your SPECIAL attributes when you level up.

There are a number of "You're SPECIAL!" Books scattered around the world to find. I'm not at home, so I don't know how many there are or where they are, but activating each one allows you to add a point to one attribute of your choice. One can be found in Shaun's room in Sanctuary. Beyond those and the Bobbleheads, I don't know of any other attribute boosts.

It's not permanently but you can find armor parts, which increase strength and there's also a painting for the PA and modifications for regular armor to increase the amount you can carry.

You can confirm this?

I mean, I would imagine so, but levelling up is getting more difficult, so I wouldn't want to waste a perk.

Also, Silencer on the Combat Shotgun. Is it just me, or does it just feel wrong to stick a silencer on a shotgun? I went with the Muzzle Break on principle.
