1) With the expected deluge of "Welcome back, gamesas!" threads, wouldn't it be a better idea to create a stickied thread for this purpose? Similar to "Introduce Yourself" threads, so each user can post their own welcoming message and prevent them from bloating the forums with "me too" messages.

2) Also, how about a sticky "Introduce Yourself" thread as well? Many people seem to enjoy peer approval of sorts from anonymous folk over the internet, and this might also help establish more of a community feel.
