Hello,

I dont know when this "bug" appeared, but i noticed that court wizards, like Farengar, dont wear their clothes. I noticed the same missing clothes with other mages as well. It only happens with mages.

I even deleted the whole data folder, letting steam reinstall all necessary files.

Even without installing any mods....

The mage still apears "naked" (just underwear =)

Any idea whats wrong with my skyrim installation?

Try a clean installation...

First do a standard uninstall. (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features-> Uninstall The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

Next, delete your skyrim folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\

Then delete your Skyrim directory under Documents/ My Games after backing up your save files if you wish.

Then under C:\Users\ [Your name] \AppData\Local\ - Delete the Skyrim folder that is in it.
You should enable to see the hidden files under windows to delete that folder.

(View - Options - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings: Show hidden files, folders and drives)

Use Ccleaner after all this (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner), and install your game again, from scratch. !!!!

You don't need to delete Steam...

using clothing mods ?? this sorta stuff happens when a mod changes default outfit of NPC they appear naked you can solve this by clicking on NPC in console and then typing disable followed by enable

...as deadblood01 say, most probably because of such kind of mod's. !!!!
