OT: I wonder if Ms. Taylor will be going all Jackitudinal on folks in Fallout 4 if you select the right option? I for one can't wait to find out!
"Touch me and I will smear the walls with you, [censored]!"
And I almost always make female characters, because males are boring. Usually it is the same stereotype 'strong, dumb soldier, North American etc.' There are only few exceptions like Adam Jensen or Garret.
As others have said, it's free-to-play. I've been playing for about two months and I haven't spent a dime on the game yet.
I treat SW:TOR as a gigantic single-player game. I don't group with other players or do raids or any of that stuff. To be honest, I'm kind of a solitary person and I don't feel particularly comfortable playing with others. I'm not even all that comfortable having someone in the room watch me while I play. I get self-conscious very easily.
So, with the way I play it, it feels a lot like "KotOR 3" to me. I haven't gotten a character to "end game." I play very slowly. When I do get there I'll probably just start another character.
Finally got a chance to listen to this, and I absolutely love her voice! Listening to her speak "normally" (not dialog lines, etc just naturally speaking) gives one a good impression of what she may sound like in a normal conversation --- when not parroting some obligatory quest-prompt dialog, that is. I had been a little worried that her voice would be too gentle, too polite, too feminine.... having heard her, I can easily imagine her being polite, and gentle, and feminine... but I can also imagine her being sarcastic, bawdy, angry. Her voice isn't "pure", it's got ~layers~ to it... hard to describe what I mean, but I now have full confidence I'll like listening to her voice for 600+ hours in the future.
probably from all the voice acting
But to be real, I love her work in Biowares title and cannot wait to see what she can do as a main character
She did mention something about someone telling her she has voice nodules which, to me (I don't know much about how voice nodules work), implies that the raspy/hoarse quality to her voice is somewhat permanent. Not that I mind, I actually really like it. It's distinctive.
Also kinda sixy.
Good interview. Can't wait to start my first game off as a female so I can hear her voice.
